This nourishing and luxurious body butter is infused with sweet-smelling beach rose from the Maine coast, and layered with the soothing and enlivening scents of rose, cardamom, and ginger. Cardamom, used by ancient Egyptians in both perfume and incense, adds a depth to this formulation with its complex and evocative notes. Enjoy heady, swirling aromas that are mildly spicy and sweet, slightly nutty, herbal, and woody. This warming butter is both grounding and uplifting, as well as nurturing. It can be used for a moisturizing, sensual after-bath or after-shower experience, to soften hands and feet, for massage, or for taming fly-away tresses. This listing is for a 6 oz. jar, and a little goes a long way.
It's a luscious and velvety butter made from fresh rose petals (with some of the initial moisture released) and by slow infusion method, to both honor the plant and deeply extract its natural constituents. Rose contains natural oils that help lock moisture into the skin and keep it feeling baby soft.
My nourishing oils and butter of choice for this blend include extra virgin olive oil, sweet almond oil, and shea butter.
∆ It comes in a 6oz. amber glass jar (the overflowing clear glass mason jar photo of our Winter Woodland Whipped Body Butter shows you the consistency of our whipped body butters).
∆ Pure essential oils of rose otto, cardamom, and ginger are used in this formula.
∆ Keep in mind that whipped body butter only stays whipped in an environment of approximately 75°F or cooler (this is why I'll only sell it in the colder months). You can store it in the fridge if your house tends to be on the warmer side. Also, I cannot guarantee that your body butter won't be exposed to warmer temperatures during shipping, causing it to melt and lose its whipped consistency (especially if you live in a warmer climate and it sits in a toasty mailbox). No worries, as the butter is still fine to use in this state, smells wonderful, feels good on the skin, is highly moisturizing, and will still do what it is intended to do.
