This nourishing, decadent body butter is infused with cedar and balsam from the Maine woods in which I live, and layered with scents of sweet vanilla and woodsy juniper and cedarwood. A wildly delicious aroma! The butter can be used for a moisturizing, sensual after-bath or after-shower experience, to soften hands and feet, for massage, or for taming frizzy hair. This listing is for a 6 oz. jar, and a little goes a long way.
It's a luscious butter made from fresh plant matter (with some of the initial moisture released) and by slow infusion method, to both honor the plants and deeply extract their natural properties. Cedar and balsam soothe the body and help restore the skin.
My nourishing oils and butter of choice for this blend include extra virgin olive oil, sweet almond oil, and shea butter.
∆ It comes in a 6oz. amber glass jar (the overflowing clear glass mason jar shots are from this product's feature in Willow and Sage magazine, Spring 2020).
∆ A minimal amount of essential oils of juniper and cedarwood, and vanilla oleoresin oil are used in this formula, as the balsam and cedar plant matter naturally imparts a fresh scent.
∆ Keep in mind that whipped body butter only stays whipped in an environment of approximately 75°F or cooler (this is why I'll only sell it in the colder months). You can store it in the fridge if your house tends to be on the warmer side. Also, I cannot guarantee that your body butter won't be exposed to warmer temperatures during shipping, causing it to melt and lose its whipped consistency (especially if you live in a warmer climate and it sits in a toasty mailbox). No worries, as the butter is still fine to use in this state, smells wonderful, feels good on the skin, is highly moisturizing, and will still do what it is intended to do.
