Good Morning Under Eye Elixir

Refresh and awaken your delicate eye area with a drop or two of this nourishing blend of organic fair trade coffee beans and my garden-grown lovage, rose petals, and rosehips infused in sweet almond and jojoba oils (these skin-loving oils are appropriate for all skin types and will not clog pores). No essential oils are used in this rejuvenating formulation. Gently dab on a drop or two each morning under and around the eyes to help reduce puffiness, brighten and lift, hydrate, and smooth fine lines. This elixir has a pleasing aroma of earthy coffee with a hint of sweet-smelling rose, guaranteed to wake you up as well! It's preferable to apply it to damp skin, for better absorption and for locking in hydration.

This formulation is naturally high in anti-oxidants which fight free-radical damage.

Caffeine absorbs easily into the skin where it tightens and firms, shrinks blood vessels, and removes water content, helping to reduce eye puffiness. 

Lovage has anti-inflammatory properties that are cooling and soothing. 

Rose petals and rosehips are known to revitalize the delicate eye area by improving elasticity, smoothing and preventing fine lines, and brightening skin.

My oils of choice for this blend are sweet almond and jojoba, both of which have ratings of 2 on the comedogenic rating scale, which means they won't clog pores. Sweet almond oil is a great source of vitamin E and vitamin A. It helps ease fine lines and crows feet, and can lessen the appearance of eye puffiness and dark circles. Jojoba is a mild oil that closely resembles the natural oil of the skin, called sebum. It contains vitamin E and B-complex vitamins that moisturize and repair. 

 ∆ This formulation comes in a 1/2 oz. amber (to protect from light) glass bottle with dropper. It is airtight and leak-proof.
